All diploma courses on our campus are provided through computer-based instruction. Our diploma lab coordinator is available to assist in the classroom when needed.

English as a Second Language:

Newberry Adult Education's English as a Second Language (ESL) classes are designed to teach a variety of language skills to non-native English speakers (also known as English language learners). ESL classes can help adults learn English listening, reading and writing skills. These classes help ESL students develop and strengthen conversational speaking skills. Our ESL teachers often use technology and games to teach ESL classes in fun, interactive ways. ESL students are required to take a pre-assessment to determine their level of English proficiency. Students will post-test after 60 instructional hours. Online resources are available.
