STEM NIGHT (4/13) was a huge success! Thank you to Mrs. Fuller your work as a lead teacher with this endeavor. All NMS Science teachers were in attendance and did a fantastic job with their events. Thank you to all NMS faculty & staff who attended this event. It was great to see over 200 students and parents in the building for this event. (Well Done!)

National School Librarian Day is observed internationally on April 4th. (Day over spring break 2023) The day is observed to recognize the professionals who keep school libraries well-stocked and books in perfect order. School librarians spend long hours keeping the library organized and are likely to be the first to help students find resources they need to learn. They encourage students to pursue reading outside of academic texts and are responsible for creating an environment where students are motivated to learn. We celebrate , Mrs. Teresa Coleman & Bonnie Frick.

Congrats. to Mrs. Crystal Boyd, March 2023 NMS Teacher of the Month. Mrs. Boyd has been awarded 1 free oil change with a 27 point inspection on any vehicle compliments of Stokes Trainor Chevrolet-Buick-GMC. This was a great evening! Special thank you to Mrs. Crystal Boyd! Crystal did a fantastic job of facilitating this event. Thank you, Mrs., Jennifer Wilson for speaking to parents/students about the PTO and tomorrow's Chick-Fil-A Fundraiser in the AM (selling biscuits in the car rider line).
Great job to Erica Scriven (discussed student government at NMS), Nurse Tracy (Updates & Information), J. Cunningham (Counselor Info., M. Mills (Pageant & upcoming STEM Night), J. Brown (Mentor/Mentee Program) & discussed NMS students hand delivering 109 care packages to residents at White Oak Manor on 3/20, Mrs. Leger (7th grade field trip and 7th grade information), & V. Burkins (8th Grade Updates/8th Grade Dance).
Thank you, Ms., Tudor/Mrs. Roberts for picking up Chick-Fil-A for tonight's "Bingo Night/Parent Night." This was a special event. I believe our next Bingo night will be a huge/even better turnout!
